Visitors with limited mobility

All parts of the museum can be accessed from the main entry hall.
• Reception staff is available for visitors who would like information, assistance, or to be accompanied on their visit. Schedules for the temporary exhibit room and the auditorium are available from the hostesses.
• The coat check area and restrooms have flat access. Wheelchairs (two seat widths available) are available free of charge from the reception. Audio-guides are available for rental at 1 euro.
• The museum made easy
A visitor’s guide is available free of charge. The guide contains a map of the museum so you can find your way around and choose your route.
• The permanent collections are located on the upper floors of the three main museum buildings: the former Collège des Jésuites, the Hôtel de Massilian and the contemporary wing.
The permanent collections are accessible via three elevators (numbered 1 to 3 in the guide). The different floors are indicated by the letters A to G. In the rooms, signs indicate a chronological path through the rooms and floor levels. This information is provided in detail in the visitor’s guide.
• The temporary exhibit room, which has seasonal programming, has flat access from the main hall.
• The auditorium hosts a program of films, conferences and other cultural or artistic events every season. The auditorium is accessible from the main hall via a gentle ramp. It has spaces to accommodate four wheelchairs.
• The workshops, documentation centre, the museum shop and the restaurant also have disabled access.

In the city centre, audio tactile maps provide directions to the museum from the Corum tramway station.
Finding your way around the museum
The ticket counter is located in the main hall, accessible through the entrance at 39 boulevard Bonne Nouvelle.
There are several areas of the tour that are lowly lit. To preserve artwork on paper, the maximum light level is 50 lux.
