This light-filled gallery leads to the contemporary building constructed over the Bourdon Court, housing paintings from the second half of the 19th century. Southern French painters such as Castelnau depicted the city of Montpellier and the surrounding region. The gallery also presents work by Loubon and the Marseilles School, together with the refined Symbolism of the turn of the century, perfectly illustrated in the work of Carrière.
